Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance & Repair:
Assist in the repair and maintenance of production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, under the guidance of more experienced team members. - Preventative Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubricating machinery, cleaning equipment, and replacing minor parts as directed. - Troubleshooting & Diagnostics:
Use basic troubleshooting skills and diagnostic tools to identify and address simple mechanical issues, escalating more complex problems to senior mechanics. - Safety & Compliance:
Follow all safety protocols and operating procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety standards. - Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and assist in preparing reports to track equipment condition and repairs performed. - Learning & Development:
Continuously develop technical skills through on-the-job training and formal training programs. Seek guidance from senior mechanics to enhance knowledge and performance.
Experience:
0-2 years of experience in a maintenance or technical role. Experience with basic hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment.
Education:
High School diploma or GED required. Technical certifications or training in mechanical, electrical, or related fields is a plus.
Skills:
Basic mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn more advanced systems and troubleshooting techniques. Basic understanding of computers and iPad software programs Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
