We have client in Charlotte seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Content Strategy to lead the development, governance, and execution of an enterprise-wide content ecosystem. This role is responsible for shaping the company’s overarching content vision—ensuring every content initiative is aligned with brand identity, business objectives, and long-term growth strategies.
The Director will define messaging frameworks, oversee content architecture, and drive high-impact storytelling across digital and traditional channels. This includes thought leadership, case studies, category narratives, and brand-defining content that elevates authority and fuels demand generation. Success in this role requires strong editorial leadership, cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and a commitment to content excellence.
This role a HYBRID with multiple days WFH per week.
Qualifications- 5 Years of extensive of marketing experience in CPG, food ecommerce/retail/manufacturing experience
- Proven experience developing and executing comprehensive content strategies aligned with business goals and brand positioning.
- Demonstrated ability to establish brand narratives and build scalable, repeatable messaging frameworks.
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing/Business Management or equivalent exp
- Design and oversee content architecture across digital platforms, campaigns, and communication channels.
- Lead the development of thought leadership, category storytelling, and executive-level narrative initiatives.
- Direct the creation and production of case studies, success stories, and portfolio-driven content assets.
- Build and manage integrated content calendars, publication workflows, and governance processes.
- Set editorial standards for voice, tone, consistency, and storytelling quality.
- Ensure alignment between content strategy and demand generation, marketing, and growth initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze content performance using data-driven insights; optimize for engagement and impact.
- Collaborate with Creative Services to produce compelling, on-brand content experiences.
