The Sr. Family Program Director will play a key role in ensuring safe, engaging, and impactful family programs at YMCA at Norton Commons and within our elementary school partnership.
This person is directly responsible for the success of our summer camp programming, school partnerships (Chancey, Norton Commons) and additional family programming. The person in this role will oversee and support our Sports Program Director and our Kids Club Director to create, organize, market, deliver and manage all aspects of family program offerings.
- Understand, articulate, demonstrate and promote the mission of the YMCA at all times
- Demonstrated skill in communication, decision-making, multi-tasking, and leadership
- Excellent customer service, problem-solving, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Innovative program development skills with a focus on meeting community needs and demands
- Previous program work experience preferred
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
