Schedule:

Ideal schedule would be 3 10’s with no weekends or call; part-time with full-time benefits. Sign on bonus up to $33,750. Relocation bonus available. This position will primarily support inpatient endoscopy in 4 endoscopy suites at Presbyterian Medical Center.

Location:

Presbyterian Medical Center - Charlotte, NC. Presbyterian is a 661-bed level 2 trauma center located just outside of uptown Charlotte. Charlotte offers a range of living environments and a cost of living below the national average, with access to city amenities, nearby beach, and mountains.

• Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care to endoscopy patient population
• Administer anesthetics for a wide variety of surgical and non-surgical procedures
• Monitor patients throughout anesthesia and recovery
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical teams
• Adjust anesthetic plans as needed based on changing patient status
• Practice independently within full CRNA scope of privileges

• Education
  :
  High School Diploma or GED is required.
• BSN, MSN, DNP, or graduate diploma level certification required. Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing and School of Nurse Anesthesia. Certified by the NBCRNA as a CRNA and recognized by the state of practice as a CRNA. Must meet minimum continuing education requirements every four years of the NBCRNA.
• Experience
  :
  Previous experience is not required. Four to six week orientation period for new graduates (with a preceptor) is required. Orientation for experienced providers will depend on prior experience and clinical skills.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration
  :
  • Current RN licensure in the appropriate state
  • Current CRNA endorsement in the appropriate state
  • NBCRNA certification
  • ACLS certification (within NH policy)
  • BLS certification (within NH policy)
  • PALS certification (within NH policy)
• Additional skills
  :
  • Extensive knowledge of current anesthetic agents, techniques, drugs, and equipment
  • Ability to modify the anesthetic plan of care to accommodate patient age
  • Strong independent decision-making skills and professional demeanor under potential stress
