OurIntermediate Critical Care Unit (ICCU)specializes in caring for medically complex patients who require a higher level of monitoring than the acute care setting, while remaining stable enough to avoid ICU admission. Nurses on this team care for a diverse patient population and gain valuable experience managing both critical and step-down level needs.
You'llgain hands-on experience with:
• Caring for patients withDKA, sepsis, tracheostomies, stable ventilators, BiPAP/high-flow therapy, and post-surgical ENT
• Administering and titrating IV therapies, includinginsulin, heparin, cardiac drips, and limited vasopressors
• Managing complex patients who require close observation, multidisciplinary collaboration, and transitional care planning
• Supporting patients recovering from advanced medical and surgical interventions
• Providing patient and family education to promote recovery, self-care, and long-term health
• Specialized patient population offering a strong mix ofcardiac, medical, and post-surgical cases
• Exposure toadvanced therapies and monitoringwithout full ICU acuity
• Strong interdisciplinary collaboration withcritical care, respiratory therapy, and surgical teams

What We're Looking For:- Education:
4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license.
In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course. - Experience:
One year relevant experience, preferred. - Licensure/Certification:
Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
