This position reports to the Clinic Manager and takes direction from the physicians related to patient care needs. The RN must function independently in the role, and seek assistance from the physicians, manager and team members as needed. Must be well organized, detailed oriented, self-motivated, possess great customer service skills, and excellent communication skills.
40 hours a week with weekend and Holiday rotation.

• Identifies expected outcomes for patients' individualized treatment plan.
• Implements identified treatment plan and coordinates all aspects of care delivery.
• Provides education and counseling to patient and family members regarding identified health needs, health care activities, and medication effects.
• Ensures that all pertinent clinical information is documented in the patient's medical record and supports the level of service selected.
• Prepare supplies and equipment necessary for the surgical patient and perform cleaning and sterilization of instruments in the surgical suite.
• Maintains sterile technique for procedures
• Communicate patient’s condition to physicians and other providers as appropriate.
• Handle emergent situations calmly and efficiently, responding quickly and demonstrating knowledge of emergency procedures and equipment.
• Counsel patients on infertility treatment protocols. Provide Pre Op, Post Op, and Intra Op coverage as needed. Maintains OR supply orders, OR accreditation, and other OR duties as aaaigned.

Work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling. Work requires lifting 25 pounds. Must possess an intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, touch, and finger dexterity. OR experience is helpful but not required. Must have the ability to concentrate. Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or clinic conditions.

• IVF/Infertility experience is helpful but not required.
• Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license).
• ACLS/BLS
