Where You Will Work2 North is a 16-bed Medical Surgical Telemetry Observation and Horizons Detox unit. The most common diagnoses are new diagnosis DM, chest pain, R/O stroke, abdominal pain, GI bleed, detox, suicide ideation, and altered mental status.
Expectations / Qualifications- 1 year of inpatient nursing experience preferred; at least 6 months required outside the New Grad residency program.
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Job SummaryThe RN Clinical Nurse I provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies, procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader. Assists in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities in a safe manner. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served.
