Registered Nurse, RN - Medical ICU

Novant Health is seeking a PRN ICU Registered Nurse at Huntersville Medical Center.

Schedule:

7pm-7am, Night Shift, PRN.

Department:
Medical ICU.

Location:

Huntersville Medical Center.

Preferred Experience:

2 years of Critical Care RN experience highly preferred.

The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team by establishing authentic personalized relationships with patients and their support system, collaborating with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health or supports a peaceful death. The RN uses best scientific evidence and compassion to assist patients in navigating their health journey and accepts responsibility, authority, and accountability for management and provision of care in accordance with current policies and procedures.

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• 4 Year/Bachelors Degree, preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, required.
• If RN license inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and not licensed elsewhere, completion of a board‑approved refresher course required prior to reactivating or reinstating license. Must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.

• One year relevant experience, preferred.

• Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
• ENPC, TNCC or CEN; preferred.
• NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire, required.
