o Cardiac Surgery, ECMO, OHT, LVAD/RVAD, Impella (R and L)
• Patient Ratios:
o RN: 1:2
• Required Licensure & Certifications:
o Education requirement? RN
o Is State Licensure and/or National Certification required? Licensure required, certification preferred
o BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI, etc.? BLS, ACLS
• Skills required:
o High level cardiac surgery with devices
• Support within the Department:
o CNA? Duties? 1
o Receptionist/HUC? 1 on week days
o Charge nurse? Yes and usually free floating
o Phlebotomy? PRN
