Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
Provide expert care to critically ill patients recovering from cardiovascular surgery or with severe cardiac conditions
Monitor hemodynamic status, ventilator settings, and invasive lines with precision
Collaborate closely with cardiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
Respond swiftly to cardiac emergencies and implement life-saving interventions
Educate patients and families about care plans, treatments, and recovery processes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation following hospital protocols
Travel to the assignment location and integrate smoothly into the CVICU team

Requirements of the Travel Nurse
Active North Carolina/Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS, ACLS, and preferably CCRN certifications
Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit or similar critical care setting
