Experience
Required:
2 years Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience in a similar facility for acuity. fresh open heart post op patients; transplant experience, experience with the following devices:
Aquadex (renal replacement therapy), Impella, ECMO. .EPIC experience. Ability/Competency to float to PICU.
RN:
Varies on acuity: 2:1, 1:1, 1:2
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
Very high acuity patient population – ages 0-18 years old
Patients with congenital heart differences that have undergone surgery, medical management of pre-transplant and post-transplant, s/p cath lab, ventricular assistive devices, ECMO, Impella, Dialysis, Aquadex (Renal Replacement Therapy)
Floating:
If yes, where?
Yes - PICU, NICU, Gen Peds – will float as needed.
Weekend Rotation
every other weekend or fewer as needed – Fri/Sat/Sun
