Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced Med Surg/Telemetry setting
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs, responding to abnormalities as needed
Administer medications and follow treatment plans as prescribed
Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in line with facility policies
Educate patients and families on ongoing care and discharge instructions
Respond to emergencies in a calm, efficient manner
Promote a supportive and compassionate environment for patients

Requirements of the Travel Nurse
Active North Carolina Registered Nurse license or compact state eligibility
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a Med Surg/Telemetry setting
