Key Responsibilities of the Travel Pediatric CVICU Nurse:
Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in the CVICU
Monitor and assess cardiovascular and respiratory status, including vital signs and neurological status
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following pediatric protocols
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including cardiologists, intensivists, and therapists
Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation according to facility standards
Educate families on patient conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care
Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient condition

Requirements   of the Travel  Pediatric  CVICU Nurse:
Active North Carolina or Compact RN license
Current BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a pediatric CVICU or similar critical care setting
