About the RoleOrtho Carolina is searching for an Ambulatory Surgery Center RN to join our team at the Mallard Creek Surgery Center location. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated technical expertise in orthopedic peri-operative nursing and clinical care. This individual will is also be responsible for the coordination of the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.
Responsibilities- The RN is able to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross‑training to other primary areas including but not limited to assisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day‑to‑day ASC operations.
- Responsible for the coordination of the telephone pre‑admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, College or University.
- Current License/registration by NC as a registered Nurse.
- At least two years’ experience in ambulatory and PACU required.
- BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
- Experience in delivering excellent service to physicians and patients and participating in high‑performing teams.
- The ability to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross‑training to other primary areas including but not limited to assisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day‑to‑day ASC operations.
