Must-Have:
Must have a teamwork approach and meet behavioral expectations in all interactions with patients and staff.
Must adhere to the call-off policy, which is strongly enforced.
EKG testing must be passed prior to start for this specialty.

Description:

RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.
Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly turn into a cancellation.
The unit will accept first-time travelers.
Local candidates are accepted with a rate difference.
The average daily census will max at 24 patients.
Normal population includes patients who are sub-specialized with neurological conditions, along with medical intermediate patients.
Floating is required to other intermediate areas along with critical care.
Three weekends every six weeks are required, totaling six weekend shifts.
Unit systems include Pyxis and Epic.
The patient population will include neurological patients along with medical intermediate patients.
Rate of patient ratios is 1:4.
The typical candidate should have skills in telemetry, vents, IV starts, and drips.
Preferred skills include triage, ICP management, conscious sedation, and charge nurse experience.
Additional preferred certifications are CCRN and TNCC.
Candidates must be comfortable floating with no restrictions or special requests.
Pending references at the time of submission are acceptable, but required at the time of start.
