*** Endocrine/Metabolic
Skills REQUIRED:
IV insulin protocols & Titration of Insulin drips
*** Gastrointestinal
Skills REQUIRED:
Feeding tube care and management
*** Genitourinary/Renal
Skills REQUIRED:
Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI) & Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management
*** IV therapy/Phlebotomy
Skills REQUIRED:
Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management & Starting and maintaining IVs
*** Medications
Skills REQUIRED:
Heparin Protocols, PCA, Thrombolytic Agents, Titrate Cardiac drips & Titrate Vasoactive drips
*** Neurological/Psychiatric
Skills REQUIRED:
Aneurysms and repair, Craniotomy, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Intracranial bleeds, Lumbar drains, Post TPA care, Pre/Post neurosurgery, Seizure disorders, Spinal cord injury, Substance Withdrawal & Traumatic Brain injury
