Schedule Details Previous Perioperative Services experience in Pre Op, PACU strongly preferred. BSN required. 4-10's M-F

Pay Range $41.10 - $61.65

• Collaborates with nursing leadership to assess needs for orientation and continuing education for nursing team.
• Develops and conducts facility‑specific orientation for licensed and non‑licensed nursing team.
• Facilitates 30‑day new employee orientation and 90‑day reunion sessions as part of the facility service excellence initiatives.
• Designs programs to enhance nursing practice; assists learners in meeting licensure and certification requirements.
• Coordinates with Nurse Managers to place students, orient students, and organize preceptorships for undergraduate and graduate students.
• Utilizes adult education principles, plans, designs, and implements educational activities based on identified learning needs.
• Works as a program planner.
• Assesses learning needs through direct observation, formal needs assessment, and program evaluation or other organizational activity reports.

Works in an office setting requiring long periods of sitting, frequent walking, and travel within hospital grounds. Requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, and ability to lift up to 51 pounds. Must have intact vision, hearing, smell, touch, finger dexterity, concentration, and critical thinking skills.

• Current applicable state RN licensure required.
• BSN required.
• 3 years clinical experience in related area (OR, ER, acute care) required.
• Specialty certification may be preferred or required for specific area (e.g., Med Ctr Air Flight Nurse Educator).
• BLS required per policy guidelines.
