Description of Work The Registered Nurse functions as an integral part of the interdisciplinary team & is responsible for the coordination (to include ongoing assessment, planning, delivery & evaluation) of nursing care for residents living in a home s care includes administration of medications/treatments, assessment of outcomes & nursing treatment as indicated.
The selected candidate must successfully complete the DHHS medication exam and have the ability to independently administer medications & treatments in a timely, accurate manner following the 6 rights. Selected candidates must also successfully become certified in CPR & NCVIF.Knowledge
Skills and Abilities
/Management Preferences Salary Range: $61,177.00 - $91,767.00
Recruitment Range:$70,000.00 - $88,348.00A Sign-on bonus of $10,000 may be offered to the successful applicant(s) of this posting, contingent on the Budget Approval.

The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs )/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred:
Ability to independently plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
Knowledge of medications and the physiological effect of those medications.
Ability to communicate information in a concise and descriptive manner, verbally, written, or by demonstration.
Ability to appropriately respond to emergency situations.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to successfully perform all functions applicable to nursing on the ADA checklist for all nursing positions s Position Is Exempt And Is EXEMPT From Certain Provisions Of The State Human Resources Act (GS 126)
This Position Is Designated As Mandatory And Must Report Or Stay Over During Adverse Weather Events.
