Cardio Pulmonary Rehab RN

We are hiring a Cardio Pulmonary Rehab RN to supervise, assess and monitor patients during cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, including exercise therapy and education sessions. The role involves coordinating patient care, responding to emergency situations, and evaluating and recruiting potential candidates for Cardiac Rehabilitation.

• Education:
  
  2‑Year / Associate Degree (required); 4‑Year / Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
• Experience:
  
  Three years in cardiovascular nursing (preferred).
• Licensure/Certification:
  Current RN license in appropriate state (required).
• Additional
  
  Skills:
  
  Practical and theoretical knowledge of all phases of routine and critical cardiac and respiratory care. Ability to perform decisively in critical situations, incorporate diverse data types, and interpret information to identify individual patient care requirements. Ability to supervise exercise, monitor patients during exercise, and modify exercise prescriptions for cardio‑pulmonary patients in partnership with exercise physiologists. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to relate to patients, families, nurses, physicians, and other staff.
  
  Ability to complete generic and department‑specific skills validation and competency testing.
