Contract Details- Position Type: Contract (Travel Nursing)
- Contract Duration: 4 months (18 weeks)
- Pay Rate: $45.00 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: Day Shift, 8-hour days, 07:00 16:00; 40 hours per week
- Float Requirement: Yes would float to other Charlotte area ASCs only if needed and probably very rarely: COSC, Ballantyne ASC, Huntersville ASC & Center City
- Call Requirement: None
- Weekend Requirement: None

This is a travel nursing contract position in the Operating Room at a fast-paced Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) specializing in ENT and Eye surgery with 6 ORs. The unit serves a broad patient population including Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics. Patient diagnoses include ENT surgery, cataracts, ocular plastics, and head and neck cases.
Key Responsibilities- Perform scrub and circulating duties in an Ambulatory OR setting with a focus on ENT and Eye surgical cases
- Provide skilled care across the following ENT procedures:
Endoscopic sinus procedures, Laparoscopic assisted cases, Laryngectomy, Mastoidectomy/Tympanoplasty/Stapedectomy, Radical neck dissection, Scrub ENT Surgery, Septoplasty/Rhinoplasty, Tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, and Tracheostomy - Provide skilled care across the following Pediatric ENT procedures:
Myringotomy with tubes, Scrub PEDI ENT Surgery, and Tonsillectomy/adenoids - Execute emergency management protocols including Code Response, Fire Safety, Latex Allergy, and Malignant Hyperthermia response
- Perform Specimen Handling/Labeling and adhere to Universal Protocol (Time Out) Procedure
- Operate within unit systems: EPIC (required) and SBAR
- Complete unit orientation (40 hours)
- Float to other Charlotte area ASCs as needed (very rarely): COSC, Ballantyne ASC, Huntersville ASC, and Center City
- Ambulatory OR work setting experience required
- Scrub ability required must be able to scrub ENT Surgery
- ENT surgical skills required:

- BLS certification required
- Active RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- First-time travelers accepted only if the RN can Scrub and has good ENT experience
- Local candidates accepted
- Fast-paced Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment with 6 ORs specializing in ENT and Eye
- Average Daily Census/Visits: 45;

Per Unit Needs - Scrubs provided
- Flu vaccination required (Medical/Religious exemptions only)
- Float to other Charlotte area ASCs only if needed and very rarely
- RTO (Return to Origin) after booking is NOT allowed and is NOT allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly result in a Contract Cancellation and DNR (Do Not Rehire).
- RTO maximum: 7 days for Auto Offer
- Unit closes at end of year: 11/25/2026
- 40 hours per week can be offered
- Unit orientation: 40 hours
