Job Overview

Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Outpatient Weight Management Clinic at Atrium Health Pineville, Charlotte, NC. Full‑time, 40 hours per week, weekdays 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

• Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered nursing care within a multidisciplinary bariatric setting.
• Initiate peripheral intravenous (IV) access for in‑clinic procedures.
• Conduct clinical triage of patient telephone inquiries.
• Coordinate prior authorizations for diagnostic studies and surgical interventions.
• Assist with pre‑operative and post‑operative patient flow, preparing and rooming patients for the surgeon.
• Apply evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, and compassionate communication to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience.

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the nurse practices.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
• Prior ambulatory experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• BSN preferred.
