Registered Nurse; RN - Med-Surg Neuro Stroke

Overview

5 Pine is a 32‑bed telemetry Med‑Surg unit focusing on stroke and neuro adult populations, with two EMU beds for seizure and epilepsy monitoring. We are a high‑performing team that practices nursing autonomy by utilizing best practices, policies, and procedures to provide the highest quality care to our patients.

Our unit maintains an active Practice Council that leads process improvement changes with input from teammates and strives for a cohesive team environment focused on engagement, patient satisfaction, learning, and growth.

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program
• At least 6 months of RN experience (this position is not for new graduates)
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers issued by the American Heart Association

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe and therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Utilize evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and effective communication to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
