Where You’ll Work

Join our 24‑bed Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Rehabilitation Unit at Carolinas Rehabilitation – Charlotte, where we provide highly specialized, patient‑centered care for individuals with traumatic and non‑traumatic spinal cord injuries, including paraplegia, tetraplegia, and complex neurologic conditions. You’ll collaborate with an expert interdisciplinary rehabilitation team—RNs, physiatrists, rehabilitation therapists, and support staff—to maximize independence, function, and quality of life.

Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the candidate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Responsibilities

As an RN, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. You will use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills to lead efforts in creating the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
