Position Overview
Registered Nurse (RN) – Atrium Health Pineville Pre Surgery Holding
Location:
Charlotte, NC, United States.
The Day Surgery department provides inpatient and outpatient surgical care. Nurses are responsible for preoperative preparation, phase II recovery, and discharge for post‑surgery patients.
Schedule36 hours per week, 4 days (0500‑1430) with some call requirements.
CompensationPay range: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour.
Responsibilities- Preoperative preparation of surgical patients.
- Phase II recovery care and discharge of post‑surgery patients.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and OR staff to deliver high quality care.
- Use evidence‑based practice and clinical decision‑making to maintain safe and therapeutic patient environments.
- Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the candidate practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
