Pay Range $99.75 - $159.60

New updated salary with entry level starting at $215,996/yr.

$100,000 sign on bonus

  • Nights = $40,000
  • Weekends = $20,000
  • Call = $5,000
Position Highlights
  • Level 1 Trauma facility
  • Opportunities include Cardiac, Peds and OBGYN, including administration of regional anesthesia and management of labor epidural service, Pediatrics, Neonates, NORA (non‑OR anesthesia)
  • Shift opportunities include days, afternoons, nights, overnight call, with options of 8, 10, 12, 24‑hour, optional OT
  • Concentration in Adult/Peds hearts, Liver Transplant, OB and overnight call available.
  • Opportunity to participate in committees, teaching opportunities available for varied allied health care learners as well as SRNAs from the CMC/UNCC Nurse Anesthesia Program.
Candidate Highlights

NC RN licensure required. Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia required. CRNA licensure required. BLS and ACLS PALS from AHA required.

Scope of Practice

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) that functions at a medical level of care to provide anesthesia, analgesia, and pain management services across the patient lifespan in a variety of settings. Clinical responsibilities may include ambulatory, surgery center and/or hospital anesthesia services. The CRNA participates as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide safe, high quality, cost effective, and evidence‑based care.

The CRNA demonstrates the highest levels of professionalism and upholds the missions, visions, and values of Advocate Health. The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) will provide care within their scope of practice as outlined by applicable state law, licensing, regulations, institutional policy, privileges, and practice agreements.
