Schedule Details- 3, 12‑hour shifts per week
- Weekend rotation

6CD is a dynamic Medical‑Surgical Telemetry unit designed to support patient flow and throughput within the hospital. As part of a Level 1 Trauma Center, the unit plays a critical role in decompressing the Emergency Department by facilitating timely admissions and discharges.
The team on 6CD provides comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of clinical diagnoses, including acute medical conditions, post‑operative recovery, and telemetry monitoring needs. Staffed by experienced nurses and clinical professionals, the unit emphasizes comprehensive assessment, stabilization, and transition planning to ensure safe and efficient patient movement across the continuum of care.
Qualifications- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- 6 months RN experience
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
