Atrium Pineville Day Surgery department cares for both inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures. Day Surgery nurses are responsible for preoperative preparation of surgical patients and the phase II recovery and discharge for patients who are leaving the facility following surgery. The unit has 24 patient‑care bays and two medication rooms with Omnicells, and a centralized nurse’s station. Care is delivered in partnership with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and OR staff to ensure excellent patient care.

Part time. PRN – 48 hours and one on‑call shift in a 6‑week scheduling period.

$38.20 – $57.30 per hour.

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Apply evidence‑based practice and clinical decision making to support a safe patient environment and a positive patient experience across the continuum.

• Base compensation within listed pay range based on qualifications, skills, experience, or training
