Schedule Details
  • Full-time nights, three 12-hour shifts per week; 7pm – 7am
  • Weekend and holiday requirements
  • A sign-on bonus is available to applicants who have not received a sign-on bonus from the company for another role within the past 24 months.
  • A relocation bonus is available if current residency is outside of the designated distance to facility.

Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30

Where You Will Work

5 North is a 26-bed General Surgery specialty unit. We are a Med‑Surg Unit with heavy surgical volume. We specialize in:

  • Elective bariatric weight loss surgery – patients typically go to the OR and are expected to be up and ambulating on post‑op Day 0.
  • General surgery – appendectomies, cholecystectomies, small bowel obstruction, etc.
  • Foot and ankle orthopedics – total ankle replacements and infected foot wounds, BKA’s etc.
  • Urology surgery.
  • A nurse on our unit will gain experience in drains of all kinds, wound vacs, central lines, NGT, DHT, and all surgical related tasks.
We’re Looking For
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
