Within Surgical Services, the Nurse Director, Operating Room will oversee the complete perioperative continuum within a community-owned, nonprofit healthcare system known for strong local leadership and a deep commitment to serving its region. The Nurse Director, Operating Room will provide leadership at the system's primary acute care hospital, a regional healthcare destination offering comprehensive services including emergency medicine, surgery, orthopedics, cardiology, oncology, women's health, and diagnostic imaging.

Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Director, Operating Room will provide oversight for strategic planning, AORN-guided clinical practice, quality initiatives, operational capacity, regulatory compliance, and financial stewardship while advancing workforce development, recruitment, retention, and a culture of safety for an engaged team of nurses, surgical technologists, anesthesia professionals, and sterile processing staff. The Nurse Director, Operating Room will also strengthen physician partnerships, maximize operating room efficiency through block scheduling optimization, and enhance clinical outcomes using evidence-based protocols and real-time performance analytics.
