Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room - Travel/Contract - Local CandidatesAccepted!

Registered Nurse in the operating room for a 13‑week travel assignment in or near Charlotte, North Carolina. The role involves delivering expert peri‑operative nursing care and collaborating with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and procedural success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert nursing care to patients in the operating room, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff to prepare the OR for scheduled surgeries.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, procedures, and clinical observations.
  • Execute sterile techniques and manage surgical instruments to prevent infections and complications.
  • Monitor patient vital signs continuously and respond promptly to any emergencies or changes in condition.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Operating Room certification if applicable
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an operating room environment
  • Valid North Carolina nursing license
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Excellent clinical judgment
