Position:
Registered Nurse in the PCU unit, working 7:00pm-7:00am, with options for 3x12-hour days or part-time shifts.
Key Responsibilities:Serve as a healthcare team leader by establishing personalized relationships with patients and support systems. Collaborate with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans promoting health or supporting peaceful end-of-life care. Utilize evidence-based practices and compassion to guide patients through their health journeys. Maintain responsibility, authority, and accountability for care management in adherence to policies and procedures.
UnitDetails:
24-bed Pulmonary Care Unit with a 1:5 (flexible to 1:6) nurse-to-patient ratio, caring for patients with COPD, asthma, pneumonia, respiratory failure, pulmonary embolism, and pleural effusions. Fast-paced environment fostering growth and collaboration.
Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree preferred; graduation from an accredited nursing program required. Valid RN licensure in the appropriate state is mandatory. One year of relevant experience is preferred. If reactivating a lapsed license, completion of a Board-approved refresher course is required.
