Position TitleRegistered Nurse (RN) Float Pool II – Emergency Department
Where You Will WorkThe Pineville ED float position will have Pineville as the teammate’s primary home location; however, the role requires flexibility to support staffing needs across multiple sites. Teammates in this position will be expected to float between all four facilities, including Pineville Emergency Department and the three freestanding emergency departments located in Steele Creek, Providence, and Ballantyne. Regular floating between these locations is a core requirement of the role to ensure appropriate coverage and patient care across the region.
We’reLooking For
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Minimum 6 months of RN experience (not for new graduates)
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire
- 1 year of Emergency Department experience required
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and strong communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
