  • This is a building with several different clinics inside. This Peds clinic is on the 1st and 2nd floor

Minimum Years of Experience required: 1-year minimum clinic experience
RNs, LPNs, and CMAs do the same role for this position, so manager will accept any 3 of those.

Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
  • Neonates to 18 years old
  • Well child visits, vaccines, ADHD, sick visits, respiratory issues like RSV, some special needs and autistic patients
  • Asthma Clinic and Healthy Future Clinic (traveler will not be assigned these areas)
Patient Ratios: Typically will handle about 12 patients per session (AM and PM session)

Required License, National Certification, Certs:
  • BLS required for all
  • If CMA, must be certified through accredited program
Skills required:
  • Clinic experience, comfortable administering vaccines to children, phlebotomy skills, rooming patients, reviewing health histories and reason for visit, collecting vitals, reviewing allergies
  • Will be assigned a specific hallway and work with providers assigned to hallway. Will not be assigned specific provider
  • Peds experience preferred but not required.
Support within the Department:
  • Patient Service Reps at front desk
  • Clinic Supervisor
  • RN Lead
  • 48 Residents, 5 MDs, 5 APPs
Technology/Equipment:
  • EMR: EPIC - preferred
  • Unit specific equipment: POC Testing equipment

  • NEO
  • Up to 15 days, dependent comfort level. Will spend up to 5 days in each area utilized.

  • Weekend rotation: none

    No
  • Holiday Expectations: none
  • Approval of RTO: to go through manager
  • Shift times:
    Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
