Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Schedule:

12-hour shifts, weekdays; must be flexible with Mondays and Fridays. Ongoing need.

Note:

30-minute lunch deducted from time worked per day.

Job Setting:
Inpatient – Large Level 1 Trauma Center;
High Acuity Endo Center inclusive of bronchoscopy and TEE

Coverage Type:
Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call (Beeper call; 30-minute call response time required)

• General Anesthesia (Adult – Preferred; Pediatric – Required; Neonatal – Required; Trauma – Required)
• Neurosurgical Cases – Required (Head – Required; Spine – Required)
• Complex Orthopedic Cases – Required
• Ventilation Management – Required
• Evaluation and Management of Acute Volume/BP Issues – Required
• Arterial Line Placement – Required

• Cardiac, Complete Ortho, Complex Vascular, Head & Spine, Neuro, OB, Pediatric, Regional, Thoracic

• Board Certified/Board Eligible:
  Board Certified (Certified CRNA) Required
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS, PALS required
• Licensure:
  Must be licensed in North Carolina only; IMLC not accepted
• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days; temporary privileges not available
• Fellowship:
