Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 per hour
Where You Will Work:
Atrium Health Pineville Labor & Delivery is a 12‑bed unit that delivers approximately 2,800 babies per year. The unit cares for low‑to‑high‑risk laboring and antepartum patients, including those on magnesium for pre‑term labor or pre‑eclampsia. It supports lactation, offers Spinning Babies and Bundle Birth classes, and requires fetal monitoring, OB ACLS, and participation in unit committees.
- Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Responsible for direct provision of patient care and for assisting the manager with daily operations, including coordination of patient care/outcomes, allocation of human and fiscal resources, communications, patient throughput, program development and oversight, patient, physician and employee rounding, staff selection, development, and retention, clinical supervision and performance appraisal, performance improvement activities, service recovery and compliance with regulatory agency requirements. Maintains clinical and professional competency appropriate to the population of patients served.
