Registered Nurse (RN) – AH University City PACU

This schedule will be rotated 3 days Monday through Friday . Teammate will start in Pre-op and float to PACU as needed. Weeknight and Weekend rotating call is required.

Hours Per Week: 36

$38.20 - $57.30 per hour

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• At least one year of previous PACU, Critical Care, or Emergency Department experience strongly preferred to be eligible for this role

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Atrium Health University City is a community-based facility with 9 Operating Rooms. It is located on North Tryon, next to the UNCC Campus. This facility is not a trauma center, but offers many specialty service lines including Orthopedics, Robotic, General, Urology and Gynecology procedures.
