Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatrics - Travel/Contract - Local Candidates Accepted!

Registered Nurse in pediatrics for a 13‑week travel contract in Charlotte, North Carolina. Provide high‑quality nursing care to pediatric patients in a hospital setting while maintaining compliance with safety protocols. Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high‑quality pediatric nursing care in a hospital setting.

  • Assess patient conditions, develop and implement individualized care plans, evaluate responses to treatments.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.

  • Document patient interactions, treatments, and progress accurately in electronic health records.

  • Educate patients and families on health management, post‑discharge care, and safety procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Valid Nursing License (RN) from the state of North Carolina or eligibility for licensure.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification;
    Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) if required by facility.

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALs) preferred.

  • Minimum of 1 year of pediatric nursing experience in a hospital setting.

  • Ability to work flexible scheduling shifts.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to adapt quickly to new environments.

Preferred

Skills:
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALs) certification.
