Atrium Health Levine Children’s invites three Pediatric Advanced Practice Clinicians to join our Virtual Primary Care and Extended Care multisite practice in the Charlotte Market. The role is hybrid, providing virtual care during the day and in‑person after‑hours care on evenings and weekends.

• Virtual Primary Care (VPC):
  Daytime remote visits, nutrition counseling, parent education, virtual house calls, chronic disease management, behavioral health consultation.
• Extended Care (EC):
  Evenings (Friday 5 p‑9 p) and weekends (Saturday/Sunday 8 a‑8 p) at the Shelby, NC location; mix of virtual and in‑person care.
• Location:
• Charlotte Market only – must reside in the greater Charlotte, NC area.

• Provide comprehensive pediatric primary care via virtual and in‑person modalities.
• Perform medical histories, physical examinations, and daily assessments.
• Document encounters and develop treatment plans in the electronic health record.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory and radiology studies.
• Write prescriptions and administer medications as appropriate.
• Perform minor office‑based medical/surgical procedures.
• Advocate for patients and participate in practice meetings and policy development.

• Minimum 3 years pediatric primary care experience.
• Patient care performed in person at the Shelby, NC location.
• Eligible for prescriptive authority in SC and AHA BLS certification (valid >90 days).
• DEA license or eligibility, and state Nurse Practitioner license.
• Preferred certifications: ACNP, AGACNP, AGNP, PNP, or PNP‑AC.
• Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Nursing Practice; RN license required.
• Strong critical thinking, interpersonal skills, and ability to prioritize.

• Base hourly compensation: $47.50 – $71.25 per hour.
• Shift premium for evenings, weekends, and on‑call assignments.

• Conduct initial and periodic medical history and physical examinations.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assessment data.
• Perform minor office procedures and manage prescriptions.
• Interpret laboratory and radiology results.
• Develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Serve as patient advocate and contribute to policy development.

• Walk, stand, sit, lift, reach, bend, stoop, push, and pull.
• Lift and support up to 35 pounds.
• Communicate fluently in English.
• Maintain adequate vision, hearing, smell, touch, and finger dexterity.
• Handle stressful situations effectively.

• Current DEA license or eligibility.
• Registered Nurse diploma or degree; authorized Nurse Practitioner license in applicable state.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider from AHA (valid >90 days).
• Certified by a nationally recognized body in pediatric advanced practice (preferably ACNP, AGACNP, AGNP, PNP, or PNP‑AC).
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing Practice.
