Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner for a full-time, on-site role in the Charlotte Metro area within our occupational health department. The Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality patient care, including conducting comprehensive physical exams, developing individualized preventative plans, and conducting fit-for-duty assessments. Key responsibilities include patient education, collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and maintaining thorough medical records. Additionally, the Nurse Practitioner will contribute to preventive care initiatives and support the unique healthcare needs of diverse first responders.

Qualifications
  • Advanced clinical skills, including patient assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions
  • Proficiency in patient education, care planning, and promoting preventive healthcare strategies
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse healthcare teams
  • Knowledge or experience in serving specialized populations, such as first responders, is advantageous.
  • Master's or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program and an active Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to providing patient-centered care
