Nurse Practitioner Highlights

Pay Rate:$74.87 per hour(W2)

Schedule:

37.5 hours/week—three weekdays + every other weekend(weekends/holidays may be part of rotation)

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and family evidence-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning.
  • Perform routine exams and diagnostic testing; coordinate with other healthcare professionals to support a comprehensive plan of care.
  • Support positive patient outcomes through education, wellness services, screenings, and chronic condition management.
  • Handle clinic administrative duties including (as needed): opening/closing, inventory, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, collecting payment, and maintaining a clean environment.
Requirements
  • Must have:
    Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner (family medicine, primary care practice, or urgent care)
  • Education/Certification:

    Master’s degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification
  • Licensure:
    Active NP license in the state of employment (multi-state licensure preferred; willingness to obtain additional state licenses)
  • BLS:
    Required (AHA or ARC)
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills; ability to work autonomously
  • Comfortable with information management/technology and electronic medical systems (EMR/EMS)

  • License in good standing (no current/prior disciplinary actions)?

  • Primary care experience (length/type)
  • EMR/EMS used
