This outpatient cancer center provides specialized hematology and oncology services to an adult patient population within a structured on-site setting. The facility is designed to support coordinated hematologic and oncologic care delivery throughout the covered assignment period. Clinical operations are structured to facilitate quality patient care on a full-time, ongoing basis.

Asheville, North Carolina offers a range of cultural and recreational attractions suited to varied interests. The area is home to the Biltmore Estate, the North Carolina Arboretum, and the Montford Historic District, where turn-of-the-century architecture reflects the city's early history. Clinicians on assignment may also explore museums spanning fine art, science, history, and vintage gaming, as well as the Folk Art Center, the River Arts District, and a variety of dining and live music venues.

Clinicians will provide on-site hematology and oncology coverage at an outpatient cancer center in North Carolina, managing 12-15 patients per day during day shift hours with no call obligations required. The clinical scope encompasses the evaluation and management of hematologic and oncologic conditions within an outpatient clinic setting, with 0-2 new consults expected per day. All clinical documentation must be maintained through the Epic EMR system for patient encounters and treatment planning activities.

Board certification in Hematology/Oncology and prescriptive authority are required for this assignment.
