Schedule Details/Additional Information:FT Nights 7pm - 7am
Within the six-week scheduling period, staff are required to work on an every-other-weekend or every-third-weekend rotation. The schedule also includes the expectation of two Monday shifts and two Friday shifts per six-week cycle.
Pay Range:$38.20 - $57.30
Registered Nurse (RN) – Atrium Health Mercy – 4 North Cardiac Medical Telemetry
This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible. In addition to the sign-on bonus, this position is eligible for a relocation bonus if current residency is outside of the designated distance to facility. New teammates at Atrium Health are eligible for robust benefits packages and paid time off.
Where You Will Work:4 North is a 29-bed Cardiac Medical Telemetry unit that specializes in the treatment of new onset medical conditions and continuum of care for a diverse population of adult patients. Common medical conditions addressed by our healthcare team include, but are not limited to congestive heart failure, pulmonary edema, hypertension, stroke, cardiac arrhythmias, endocarditis, and initial cardiac work up for chest pain and/or shortness of breath.
Initial cardiac work up typically includes prepping patients for cardiac stress test.
- 1 year of inpatient nursing experience preferred.
At least 6 months required experiencetocome inoutside of the New Grad residency program. - Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
