Position: Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) - Greensboro, NC

Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring, titrating drips, and intermediate care protocols

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care to patients requiring close monitoring and advanced therapeutic support
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Closely monitor patient status, promptly responding to changes and emergencies
  • Document interventions and care accurately in electronic health records
  • Educate patients and families about ongoing care needs and recovery

$1,706 - $1,866/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
