Locum Jobs Online  is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Cardiology NP in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28203!

We are seeking an experienced Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for a 90-day assignment with our client in North Carolina, starting Jan 1, 2027. This role involves inpatient cardiology duties across shifts from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 12 a.m., focusing on diagnostic and non-invasive procedures, along with various bedside and minor procedural tasks.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide inpatient cardiology care.
• Perform EKG interpretation.
• Supervise and interpret stress tests, including exercise and pharmacologic.
• Support echocardiogram ordering and interpretation.
• Review Holter and event monitor data.
• Execute suture removal and wound care for post-surgical cardiac patients.
• Perform central line placement.
• Perform arterial line placement.
• Remove femoral/radial sheaths after cardiac catheterization.
• Perform cardioversion.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Cardiology is required.
• The EMR system utilized is Epic.
• This is an inpatient cardiology setting.
