Where You Will Work:

9T is a 36-bed neurosurgical medical-surgical unit. We specialize in neurosurgical spine and step down from NSICU, Neuro Progressive and stroke departments. Of these beds, 6 are off-service beds that serve patients with neurological diagnoses

This is a fast-paced, high-acuity unit, especially for our fresh post-operative spine patients, which allows for lower nurse-to-patient ratios to ensure optimal care. We are proud to be Joint Commission Certified in Spine Surgery—the first unit in the country to receive this designation. We've successfully completed two redesignations.

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
