About the Position

Travel Nurse Source  is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified NICU RN in Asheville, North Carolina, 28801!

Job Opportunity – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse – North Carolina

Start Date: July 23, 2026

Location: Western North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day and night shifts available; 12-hour shifts;
Every other weekend required;
Floating to Pediatrics, PICU, and Mother Baby (babies only) as needed

Highlights:

  • 51-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at a major regional referral center
  • Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on acuity
  • EMR system:
    Cerner
  • Collaborative team environment with approximately 120 nursing staff members
  • State-of-the-art 815-bed acute care facility with newly opened patient tower
  • Only Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and children's hospital in the region

Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse license
  • Minimum 2 years of Level III or higher NICU experience required
  • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
  • Stable and NIC-RNC certifications preferred
  • Detail-oriented and organized personality with strong critical thinking skills
