Schedule:
40 hr weeks. Rotation in 3 week blocks between in and out patient. 13-hour shifts while inpatient, 9-hour shifts while outpatient. Every third weekend and holiday coverage on a rotation.
Pay Range: $51.05 - $76.60
- Collaboratively manage patients under the general supervision of the attending physician, on a fast-paced pediatric stem cell transplant service.
- Shared coverage responsibilities between in and out patient.
- Lead family centered multidisciplinary rounds, provides bedside care, and manages admissions and discharges to the inpatient BMT unit.
- Provides continuity of care for patients and families in the outpatient BMT clinic.
- Perform procedures such as lumbar punctures with instillation of intrathecal chemotherapy and bone marrow aspirates and biopsies.
- Provides coverage on a rotating basis in our infusion suite.
- Participate in quality improvement and committees.
- Follow evidence based practice/SOPs/FACT requirements.
- Provider group of 4 physicians, and 3 advanced practice providers.
- Experience as an advanced practice provider, preferred, but not required.
- Bone Marrow Transplant or Heme Onc experience is preferred, but not required.
- Physician's Assistants and Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (must be acute care certified).
