(2) 12 hour shifts in staffing; (2) 8 hour shifts in admin (3p-11p) w/ variable weekends.
$44.15 - $66.25
Where You Will WorkAtrium Health Carolinas Medical Center 4B - BMT/Cellular Therapy/Hematology Oncology is a 16-bed adult bone marrow and cellular therapy unit. The unit cares for patients with hematologic malignancies (leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, etc.) undergoing bone marrow/stem cell transplants, CAR-T Cell and other investigational therapies for these malignancies. The team prides itself on inclusivity, teamwork, and exemplary patient care.
We’re Looking For- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- 6 months of RN experience
- Minimum two years nursing experience preferred. Previous management experience preferred.
- BSN required. RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program within 1 year of Hire/Transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program.
- Appropriate professional certification (either clinical or leadership) is required within 1 year of eligibility for professional certification exam. Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required within the department by the nurse leader.
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
