Weekend Nights: 7p-7a Saturday and Sunday A sign-on bonus is available to applicants who have not received a sign-on bonus from the company for another role within the past 24 months. 5 North is a 26-bed General Surgery specialty unit. We are a Med-Surg Unit with heavy surgical volume.
We specialize in:
- Elective bariatric weight loss surgery - these are typically our happiest and easiest patients. They go to the OR and are expected to be up and ambulating on post op Day 0.
- General surgery - appendectomies, cholecystectomies, small bowel obstruction, etc.
- Foot and ankle ortho - total ankle replacements and infected foot wounds, BKA's etc.
- Urology surgery.
