Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Windsor, NC | Acute Care

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 Hours/Week | 13-Week Assignment

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient treatment
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments and interventions
• Participate in every-other-weekend rotation as part of the standard schedule

• Active North Carolina RN license or valid Compact RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• CPI certification required (candidates may begin without CPI and will be enrolled in the next available on-site class)
• Must successfully pass required Relias competency exams prior to start (two attempts allowed; failure on the second attempt will result in pre-start cancellation)
• Must reside at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Experience with high-acuity and diverse patient populations in an emergency environment

• Opportunity to work in a community-based emergency setting with a supportive care team
• Interviews conducted by the unit, offering candidates a chance to connect directly with the team before starting
